I only have used the Simrek. The boat originally came with the brand that mounts on top and used a simple pickup tube with only 1 exit. It was worthless. After I installed the Simrek, I looked over the back while running and water was being shot all over it, top, sides, and rear. I like this MUCH better and the cap style showers. You can stand on it and it does not budge. Not to become a habit though for chance of breaking the corners of your outdrive. Just saying how strong it is. I highly recommend this one.

I have 2 Simrek Halo’s installed. My buddies can’t see my drives when we’re running together, too much water being sprayed on them from the showers. No steam from the stern anymore when I come down off plane.

How many of your guys that bought the showers actually checked them out in action? Well, being the idiot that I am, I did today on mine. Cruising around 40 mph, hanging on for dear life and looking under the swim platform, Wo hoooo! Tons of water spraying all over the outdrive!!

Guys, I put the 90 degree pick up one on my bravo1 last year. No speed difference. About the only thing I noticed was the added spray of water coming off the outdrive caused by the pick up. Nicest unit I found, easy instructions, fit and finish is excellent.
